Paula has extensive experience in building and maintaining trust and safety in online platform environments and communities. She spent the last 12 years holding global roles across the tech industry in companies such as Google, Meta and Reddit leading multiple areas of global policy development and enforcement. Her areas of expertise and interest range from platform integrity and governance to child safety, consumer advocacy, content moderation and digital regulatory trends.

With a background in linguistics, translation and localisation, Paula is passionate about the global role of technology and innovation for social good and a fairer digital development. She currently advises tech companies and professionals on product safety and integrity issues and how to navigate the current global landscape while evolving their product/service, policies and practices responsibly and safely. She is also involved in various Artificial Intelligence policy research initiatives.
