Emma Fawcett

Dr. Emma Fawcett is a clinical psychologist currently working on a Children’s Disability Network Team in Dublin. As part of her role, Emma specialises in children’s psychological assessment and intervention for children presenting with complex needs and requiring multiple therapeutic supports.

Prior to joining this team, Emma worked for the HSE on multiple teams including Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), Neuropsychology (St.Vincents Hospital), Adult Mental Health (S.Lomans Hospital) and Primary care services for both adult and child services.

Emma holds a Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) from UCD, A Doctorate of psychological science (Behaviour Analysis and Therapy) and a BA (Hons) in Psychology. Emma has published research in international journals on the role of implicit responding within the area of suicidal ideation, the generalisation of teaching targets in children with Autism and a systematic review on suicidal presentations to mental health services in Ireland.

Emma has previously worked as a project coordinator for Aisling project, Ballymun and as a behavioural support specialist for home and school programs with the department of education.
