Des Hanrahan

Chairperson

Mr. Hanrahan is an experienced banker and accountant who spent more than 40 years with Bank of Ireland. During his time there, he held many senior positions across a wide spectrum of functions in the bank. He has recently retired.

Mr. Hanrahan is a fellow and past Irish President of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He is also experienced in the voluntary sector, having previously been named Honorary Treasurer of Aisling Project, Honorary Treasurer of Grange Golf Club, Dublin, and Past President of Blackrock College RFC. Mr Hanrahan is an experienced lecturer in the subjects of finance and accounting. He was appointed to Chair of Aisling Project in October 2022.
